All About Me

A NATURAL INSTRUCTOR

My job is a passion for me, and it brings me joy to be able to share this passion with my students. From day one, they learn important foundational techniques to help them boost their skills and self-esteem. Each one has a unique learning style, and it’s my duty to find out what that is and adapt my lessons accordingly. As a New Art Teacher at La Jolla High School it is my desire to help the Arts program grow. My specialty is teaching drawing and painting . I earned a BFA in Art Education from Arizona State and I have a Masters in Special Education. I believe attitude is everything and effort pays off. My classes are project based and process oriented.
